A trucker was issued two traffic citations by Pa. State Police after his rig collided with a police cruiser and in the process killed a state trooper from western Pennsylvania. However, they will not file criminal charges for the officer’s death.
The driver of the rig was identified as 48-year-old Gregory Golkosky, resident of Mount Pleasant. For being a careless driver and allegedly running a stop sign prior to the crash, Golkosky was cited this morning. After running a stop sign, the careless driver’s truck collided with the police cruiser operated by Trooper Blake Coble. The 47 years old police officer expired on the scene in South Beaver Twp. which is just 40 miles from Pittsburgh. The accident happened last October 4/
Stationed with troop D in Beaver, Coble is married and is the father of two children.
